The EpiCentre has been operational in Haverhill for five years and currently works with more than 50 companies.

The centre’s business community is growing and includes a diverse mix of companies. A flexible approach allows the centre to cater for businesses throughout their development from start-ups and entrepreneurs to more established firms.

A spokesperson for The EpiCentre said: “Situated within easy reach of Cambridge, a globally recognised hub for biotechnology and technology, customers can tap into the city’s talent pool, expertise and innovation ecosystem, while avoiding the congestion associated with Cambridge.”

Alongside dedicated offices, The EpiCentre’s daily hot desks offer flexible working, on-demand working options which can translate into a future dedicated office space. Customers also have access to the Oxford Innovation network which provides mentoring, specialist support, and connections aimed at fostering entrepreneurial success.

Helen Earl, centre manager at Haverhill, said: “Supporting more than 50 companies today is a fantastic milestone but in reality, over that five years, 180 companies have passed through our doors whether as customers taking offices, co-working desks or signing up as virtual customers.

“It is a real testament to the strength of The EpiCentre community that is full of ambitious innovators, creatives and businesses. Companies are increasingly looking for flexible, supportive environments that allow them to grow without unnecessary pressure on costs, and that’s exactly what we can provide at The EpiCentre.”
