Housebuilder, House by Urban Splash, has built a modern and 100 per cent recyclable sales suite structure at Northstowes newest neighbourhood, housing a high-tech interactive customer experience in an exciting move to radically rethink how a modern sales suite should be constructed and used.

The landmark building has a totemic pitched roof soaring nine metres high creating an iconic black geographic shape on the Northstowe skyline, providing an immediately recognisable emblem for the brand and marking the innovative housebuilder’s official arrival at the new neighbourhood, called Inholm.

Homebuyers will have an immersive experience which showcases the new homes, explores the future vision of Inholm, as well as celebrating the rich history of the location which concludes Roman anecdotes and Saxon discoveries. Comprehensive information is displayed on touchscreens, virtual reality headsets, architectural models and bespoke publications.

The ‘House Pavilion’ provides a combined reception and multi-media exhibition space for House by Urban Splash to showcase its modular homes, alongside a remote workspace and sales suite.

It’s designed by nationally recognised and award-winning architecture practice shedkm and offers homebuyers an immersive brand experience for the customisable homes and new community.

The pavilion mirrors the existing sustainable vision of the company and has been designed and engineered to produce zero fabrication waste. Its structural components are prefabricated and can be delivered by a single truck and assembled in under a week.

This has reduced construction waste and minimised disruption for surrounding neighbours during the construction process.

It has also been designed flexibly.  It can remain in situ for up to five years with stand-alone Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) structures which can be fully retrofitted and repurposed, or disassembled and rebuilt in a new location, making the structure 100% recyclable.

Guy Ackernley, Residential Director, says: “House is all about ultra-sustainable, beautiful, modern design by award-winning architects, and the pavilion embodies all of these things, reflecting our ‘Live Well by Design’ philosophy. The pavilion is part of our mission to do things differently, and continually raise the bar.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with how our first weekend has gone with pre-booked appointments and our first reservation on a Town House.  We are bringing something completely new and different to the local area and I think housebuyers are ready for that.  The House Pavilion is the first experience customers will have with our brand and it doesn’t disappoint.”

The Pavilion is open at Northstowe.  Viewing can be booked online at housebyurbansplash.co.uk.  Bookings must be made in advance due to additional safety restrictions on numbers in place.  Virtual viewings are also in place and can be handled fully remotely due to the companies online viewing platform.
