Savills has celebrated 10 new recruits to its Reading team in 2021 including four graduates.

Existing team members joined the latest recruits for a photocall to help showcase the property services firm and Thames Tap partner’s new talent.

The graduates are:

  • Ragan Jain who has become a graduate planner. He has a first class degree in Economics from the University of Bath and a masters in Spatial Planning and Development from the University of Reading.
  • Ailsa Howells who has degrees in Architecture and Planning and Property Development and Planning from the University of the West of England.
  • Sam Robinson who has a degree in Real Estate Management from the University College of Real Estate Management.
  • Josh Tarrant has been appointed to Reading’s worldwide occupier services division. He has a degree in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University.

Phil Brown, head of Savills Reading, said: “As our business continues to grow we are always keen to use the opportunity to bring in new talent through our award-winning graduate programme. I am particularly pleased to welcome Ragan, Ailsa, Sam and Josh, who have hit the ground running and are already proving great assets to our Reading team.”

The other six new recruits, who have joined the planning, development, worldwide occupier services, residential development sales and lettings teams, are:

  • Gemma Malaperiman, director, corporate account management, worldwide occupier services
  • Sarah Smith, associate director, planning
  • James Walker, associate, planning
  • Megan Holman, senior surveyor, development
  • Steph Duff, sales negotiator, residential development sales
  • Luke Richardson, lettings negotiator, lettings

Mr Brown added: “We are proud to be a market leader in Reading, offering a comprehensive breadth of service and unrivalled sector knowledge across six service lines including planning, development, valuations, new homes, lettings and occupier services.

“To maintain this, it is clearly important that we continue to recruit the best people in the business, and we expect to expand the office team further across the latter part of 2021 and into 2022.”
