Bellway Homes’ plan for 129 flats at Moorbridge Road, Maidenhead have been recommended for approval.

The Royal Borough’s development management committee will meet on Wednesday, November 18 to decide the scheme in which the development has a fallback position of a conversion of the existing office buildings on the site to 71 flats through Permitted Development Rights already granted.

The new plans for the 0.5-hectare site, next to the police station roundabout on the A4, have been drawn up by architects at RM_A while Savills provided planning consultancy.

They are for five blocks of between three and 10 storeys which will replace Moorbridge Court and Liberty House. The flats, will be a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
