Two applications for a total of up to 130 homes in Watlington, Oxfordshire have been recommended for approval.

South Oxfordshire District Council’s planning committee will discuss plans, both outline applications submitted by Providence Land, for up to 60 homes on land west of Pyrton Lane and up to 70 on land off Cuxham Road, at its January 13 meeting.

The Pyrton Road site is 4.6 hectares while the Cuxham Road land is 6.41-hectares. The two sites are neighbouring agricultural fields.

Both schemes propose a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes.

The team for the two schemes includes Pegasus as masterplanner and Howard Sharp & Partners as planner.
