Outline plans for up to 150 homes in Chinnor have been submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.
Gleeson Homes has applied to develop a 10.73-hectare agricultural site, east of the B4445 Thame Road, in a scheme which will also include public open space and a children’s play area.
The development is designed on the 20-minute neighbourhood principle and there will be a 40 per cent allocation of affordable homes.
The development for the rectangular field (centre of image) close to Pilmore Meadow, Equine Way and Oxford Down, has been designed by Pegasus and planned by Turley. Transport planning was done by i-Transport.
