Bellway Homes Limited, with Claremont Planning Consultancy acting as agent, have brought forward an outline application for the development of up to 180 residential developments on a site near Potton, in Bedfordshire.
Bellway submitted the application in April, but a consultation on the application began this month.
The proposed site is a parcel of pastoral land north of Myers Road in Potton, currently used to keep horses, with stables and a bungalow currently still intact.
The application lists the initial proposed housing mix as being comprised of 126 houses, alongside 39 affordable houses for rent, and 15 affordable houses for ownership, the number of bedrooms for all proposed housing is still unknown.
Pending approval for the outline application, a specific housing mix can then be confirmed in a reserved matters application.
The application currently has 21 responses against its development from a consultation of 46 consultees, the total list of consultees includes representatives and councillors from Central Bedfordshire Council, Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, and the NHS, among others.
Timeline
The consultation concluded last week, with a decision now being anticipated, as there is a target date for a decision in August.
