A Swindon development site has been acquired by insurance company NFU Mutual from Marq Logistics for £2.7 million.
The site is expected to be utilised for a logistics unit, with a scheme proposing an 80,000 sq ft unit upon the 5.3-acres site, including office space, and designs that meet sustainability standards.
Graftongate have been appointed as development partner, with Cogent Real Estate acting on their behalf, NFU Mutual was represented by Newmark.
The site already has occupiers including DHL, B&Q, TNT and WHSmith.
Construction is expected to start this month, with projections of completion for Q1 2027.
