An application to build up to 370 homes in Swindon has been submitted by David Wilson Homes and BDW Trading.

The Foxbridge Village South scheme, part of the 8,000-home New Eastern Villages development, is on 24.68 hectares of agricultural land on the eastern outskirts of the town, near the A419.

Planning consultant Alder King submitted the outline application for the scheme to Swindon Borough Council. It includes a 1,500 sq m local centre.

A further application for up to 330 homes at Foxbridge Village North is being drawn up by Danescroft.
