S2 Estates’ plans for hundreds of homes next to Bracknell Station have been submitted.
S2 plans to replace 1.75-hectare Bracknell Beeches business park with the residential development of 377 flats which will connect to the platforms.
The scheme of studios and one and two bedroom homes has gone through a number of revisions since the first proposal for 595 flats.
Last year, a consultation over a reduced scheme of 420, resulted in the final application of 377. The submitted scheme proposes 420 car parking spaces plus four for a car club, 672 cycle spaces and 601 sq m community/retail floorspace.
The scheme proposes seven buildings, ranging from five to 16 storeys, some of which are linked.
The team on the project includes Assael as architect, and Quod as planning consultant.
