A 60-dwelling planning application for a land parcel east of Willersey Business Park in Gloucestershire is set to be heard at the Cotswold District Council Planning and Licensing Committee meeting next Wednesday.
The site is a 3.35-hectare parcel of agricultural land on the northern edge of Willersey village.
The application has been referred to the Planning and Licensing Committee as it constitutes a major development, and has a recommendation to be permitted, as the benefit of new housing- including affordable housing- is considered to outweigh any potential adverse impacts.
The developments approval is subject to no objections from the Biodiversity Officer, and completion of a S106- which would require affordable housing provision, BNG monitoring, and financial contributions to education services, and the local Parish council.
Proposed conditions
Other proposed conditions the permission would be subject to include completion of landscaping by the end of the first full planting season, replacement of trees on the landscaping scheme that die or are removed, provision of a local equipped play area prior to the occupation of 10 of the dwellings, and provision of pedestrian and vehicular access from the site to the B4632.
