Plans have been submitted for 95 homes on the Wokingham/Bracknell border.

The applicant, stated as Mr Anthony Pudner, plans to redevelop a 4.2-hectare equestrian centre on land west of Old Wokingham Road and south of Waterloo Road.

Most of the irregular-shaped site falls within the Wokingham borough with the eastern tip in Bracknell Forest.

That part of the site will provide drainage basins and help the scheme achieve a biodiversity net gain.

The homes, 35 per cent of which will be affordable, will be a mix of houses and flats. The scheme, which was planned by Pegasus, falls within the Wokingham Strategic Development Location in which the council aims to deliver 2,500 properties.

Planning applications have been made to both councils.
