Three new occupiers have signed up to be part of the new Elms Field development in Wokingham – with Starbucks expected to join them.
Kaspas, a national dessert parlour will be joined by independent children’s clothes retailer This Little Piggy, which is currently at Holme Grange Craft Village and families’ indoor play provider Pirates Landing which is based in Camberley.
The new occupiers will be close to the new Aldi supermarket, Everyman cinema and Premier Inn hotel.
Cllr Charlotte Haitham Taylor, Wokingham Borough Council’s executive member for regeneration, said years of consultation ahead of Wokingham regeneration had shown a continued demand for activities for families and young people.
She added: “We are delighted to see a variety of great independent businesses as well as some wonderful nationals come forward, such as Starbucks who would be a perfect fit alongside the park.
“There is still a way to go in agreeing final terms but we expect to be making lots more announcements over the coming months as the work at Elms Field completes and new businesses start to confirm opening dates.”
