Barclays Eagle Labs has officially opened its centre at Oxford.

The new incubation centre, at The Oxford Trust’s Wood Centre for Innovation, is one of a network of 25 labs which help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Eagle Lab Oxford, which focusses on science and tech start ups, has space for up to 48 entrepreneurs although it is currently reduced to 20 to allow for social distancing.

Five businesses signed up so far are  Fuel3D, Oxford RF Solutions, Impair AI, Quorbit and Prismea.

Nicki Campling, on-site ecosystem manager, said: “Being based at The Oxford Trust’s innovation centre in Headington is a great fit due to its location, beautiful new building and curated community.

“Our new space is now fit for purpose and, to celebrate our official opening, we are hosting an exciting line-up of online events which we hope will resonate with science, tech start-ups and entrepreneurs.”
