The Greater Cambridge Partnership and Cambridge City Council are working to together to review the bike parking facilities at the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park on Gonville Place, Cambridge.
The car park is situated on the edge of the city centre, next to Parkers Piece and nearby to other amenities, such as the Parkside pool and gym, part of Community Active, a charity which sets out to provide essential services to support the nation’s health and wellbeing whilst being a hub for the community.
The consultation provides an opportunity for both new and existing users to contribute to proposed capacities and security measures for the area, which will help form proposals for enhancements to the existing bicycle parking provision.
The project is part of Greater Cambridge Partnership’s aim to help create transport networks that are both more effective and greener, helping connect people to homes, jobs, places to study and wider opportunities.
The results of the consultation will be used by Cambridge City Council and the Greater Cambridge Partnership to inform plans for improvements to the cycle facilities in the short and long term.
The consultation closes at midday on Monday, July 12.
