Bristol-based Hoare Lea, an active engineering consultancy in the Thames Valley, has been acquired by US firm Tetra Tech for an undisclosed sum.
Hoare Lea, which is involved in many projects across Oxfordshire, has expertise in low carbon development.
Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech chairman and chief executive, said, “The addition of Hoare Lea further advances Tetra Tech’s industry-leading sustainable building solutions for our commercial and government clients.
“They join our global practice that provides state-of-the-art net zero carbon design, digital engineering and building intelligence for the future of the built environment.”
