Bellway Homes has revealed plans for 60 properties in Caversham Road in Reading.
The housebuilder expects to submit a planning application to Reading Borough Council in the next few weeks for its plans to develop numbers 97a – 117, which includes the former Carters tent and outdoor shop.
A newsletter to residents explains the homes range from one-bedroom flats to four-bedroom houses. There will be four storeys of flats facing onto Caversham Road with houses behind. They include 16 one-bedroom apartments, 20 two-bedroom apartments, 14 homes with three bedrooms and 10 with four.
The scheme includes a 30 per cent proportion of affordable homes and there will be parking for half the properties.

It would be great if the architectural firm could be credited along with the copyright for the image as the scheme looks really good.
