West Suffolk District Council resolved to grant planning permission for two Pigeon residential schemes of up to 160 homes each in Ixworth and Bury St Edmunds.

The Ixworth site is allocated in the West Suffolk Local Plan and is located off Bardwell Road. The scheme includes 40% affordable housing.

The Bury St Edmunds site is allocated in the West Suffolk Local Plan and is located north of Mount Road. The scheme includes 40% affordable housing and 10% custom/self-build plots. 40% of the site will feature green infrastructure.

Both schemes have undergone extensive stakeholder engagement processes and will help to address local housing needs in West Suffolk.
