Oliver Carr, who leads the rural team for Savills in Cambridgeshire, said: “Lodge Farm is an attractive and substantial commercial arable farm that enjoys a quiet and attractive setting, while still well connected to nearby towns and transport routes.

“The farm has been efficiently managed by the same family for over 70 years – arranged in large, workable fields that are suitable for a range of cropping rotations and which lend themselves well to modern agricultural operations.

“Currently farmed under a Contract Farming Agreement by a local family who would be keen to continue their management for a new owner, the gently undulating topography, together with pockets of woodland and pasture, provides both strong agricultural capability and amenity appeal.

“A range of buildings offer useful commercial income and flexibility for several different uses, while a separate yard also has planning permission for residential development, providing a clear opportunity for future enhancement.”
