The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has announced plans to relocate from Thomas Graham House to 334 Cambridge Science Park, expecting to move later this year.
The new facility is expected to:
- Better support flexible and hybrid working patterns
- Provide a more inclusive and accessible environment for colleagues and visitors
- Enable more efficient and sustainable operations
- Help ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation
The move has also been pushed for in order to support financial and environmental goals.
The new building will meet NABERS certification standards, Reduce the environmental footprint through improved energy efficiency and modern building systems, and RSC’s net zero targets by embedding sustainable design and operation
