A full planning application for Land at Audley End, Melford Road in Lawshall, which would facilitate the relocation of Laverham Falconry from their current site in Monks Eleigh, has been approved at the most recent Babergh planning committee.

Key issues discussed at the committee meeting included a visitor number restriction, public transport proximity, and the proposed facilities which would be constructed upon the site.

There was then a motion for approval, which was granted, with four members voting for, three against, and one abstaining.

The proposal was therefore approved, alongside a number of conditions and informatives – including pest control, a limit on visitor numbers at any one time, and BNG requirements.
