A planning application for the erection of two industrial units, alongside parking arrangements, a loading facility, and an alteration to highway access has come forward for a site next to Egrove Way, at the Williton Industrial Estate.
The application was submitted with Coles Development Management acting as agent for Storm Earth. Storm Earth is the sole owner of the land the development is proposed for.
The site has been vacant since March 2023, and was previously used as parking allocation for an adjacent industrial building. The new application seeks to add six vehicle parking spaces alongside two disability spaces, and 12 cycle spaces
There is a risk of flooding within the area the site is based upon, however there is an intention to use soakways to dispose of surface water
The proposed industrial units would be of Use Class B2 (General industrial), and would comprise 372 sq m of floorspace.
