Barratt London has launched Magnolia Apartments, the latest homes at its Hendon Waterside development in West Hendon, north-west London.
The scheme sits beside the Welsh Harp Reservoir in Zone 3 and is part of a major regeneration programme that is reshaping West Hendon into one of the capital’s most significant long-term growth areas.
West Hendon was identified by Barnet Council as a key regeneration area in 2013, with £9.6 billion earmarked for more than 2,000 new homes, plus affordable housing, a new school, a community centre and a commercial hub. The launch also reflects wider market demand for energy-efficient homes in well-connected locations, with research cited by Barratt showing strong buyer interest in lower running costs and sustainability.
Joseph Antoniazzi, Barratt West London’s director of sales and marketing, said Magnolia Apartments offers a rare chance to buy in the tallest building of this phase, with selected homes enjoying direct waterside views and all residents benefiting from rooftop space. He added that the off-plan launch provides a competitive buying opportunity for first-time buyers, young professionals and movers.
The development is within walking distance of Hendon Station and close to Hendon Central Underground Station, offering quick links to central London, King’s Cross St Pancras and Farringdon. It is also convenient for schools, the M1 and M25, and airports. Prices start from £350,000 for a one-bedroom home, with launch set for July.
