Barratt London, in partnership with North Harrow Community Library, has revitalised the children’s section of the library, creating a vibrant and inspiring space for young readers.
This renovation marks a significant milestone for the community, following the library’s closure due to funding cuts. The project was celebrated with an official opening by the Mayor of the London Borough of Harrow, Councillor Anjana Patel, who praised the collaborative effort and its positive impact on local families.
The renovation involved Barratt London’s construction team, the London Borough of Harrow, and library volunteers. It included new bookshelves, flooring, and a comfortable seating area for reading and group activities. Volunteers also painted the area in bright, warm colours to create an inviting environment.
Since reopening in 2018 as a community-run library, managed by the North Harrow Community Library Trust, the library has provided essential access to books and educational programs. Kamal Shah, Chair of Trustees, expressed gratitude to Barratt London for their dedication to the refurbishment, emphasising its importance in fostering early literacy skills and a love of reading.
Danny Farenden, projects director at Barratt London, stated: “We are delighted to have supported North Harrow Community Library with this meaningful renovation, allowing them to continue the great work they are doing under the Trust. Community spaces like this are vital for local families and it’s been a privilege to create a space that encourages learning and creativity for young readers.”
Barratt London is also involved in the Eastman Village development, a joint venture with Hyde Group, transforming the former Kodak Factory site into a modern residential area with over 2,000 homes. This development is part of a larger £1.75bn improvement scheme in Harrow, which includes new schools, jobs, and community amenities, enhancing the area’s property landscape.

Hello from the UK! I stumbled upon God Odds when a friend mentioned it in passing on a forum. I wasn’t hyped, but the games ran smooth, the interface is simple, and withdrawals didn’t drag for ages. I enjoyed the calm experience — no annoying distractions, just me spinning casually after work. Oddly enough, I ended up enjoying it more than I expected. I’ve bookmarked it for late-night sessions when I want something functional without stress. Works exactly as I like it.
royalfortune-casino.uk is surprisingly rapid – crypto out in under 15 minutes, bank transfer same day before 6pm. Proper regal vibe without being cheesy, loads of Pragmatic drops and Evolution live rooms. They chuck 20% cashback every Monday and the VIP levels actually give decent perks. Been smashing it there the past fortnight.
I’ve been focusing on casinos that combine a pleasant design with reliable back-end performance. One site that ticked those boxes in my recent checks was Pyramid Spins, offering a well-organised lobby and helpful filtering for game types. The site’s emphasis on clear bonus rules and fair play made it a comfortable place to try new slots and table games.
I think online casinos in United Kingdom are much easier and more convenient to use because everything stays the same, but you don’t have to go anywhere and you can start enjoying your favorite games anywhere you want. I play at https://bookofdeadslot.co.uk/ and I think that only could come up with such a masterpiece that I just can’t tear myself away from.
