He will also work with the firm’s wider offering – which includes specialists in planning, commercial property, infrastructure, energy, rural, residential and building consultancy – to strengthen the firm’s position in the region and provide a full range of integrated property services.

Toby Lambert, head of residential development (East) at Carter Jonas, said: “Carter Jonas is a business I have always admired and therefore I am extremely pleased to join them in order to help facilitate their stated growth ambitions in the Eastern Region. I am truly passionate about land and believe that well planned and beautifully built housing can leave a positive and lasting legacy that our clients and their communities can be proud of. I look forward to working with my colleagues and clients to deliver this vision.”

Colin Brown, head of planning and development at Carter Jonas, said: “I am delighted to have secured Toby as our new Head of Residential Land in the East of England.  He has a demonstrable track record, and has outstanding expertise working alongside landowners, promoters and housebuilders to deliver much-needed new housing projects. There remains an acute need for new housing across the Eastern Region and I am confident Toby will provide an invaluable service to our many clients across the area.”
