The final phases of construction at Eagle Business Park, Huntingdon, has seen a record take-up of warehouses.

Planning permission was granted by Huntingdon District Council in the summer for four new estates, creating the final phase of Eagle Business Park, which will total 37 units, ranging in size from 900 sq. ft to 2,895 sq. ft, which are available for sale or to let.

The developer, Barnack Estates (UK) Ltd, are due to commence construction at the end of September. Since agents Eddisons began marketing the scheme in May 2021, over 20 of the units have already been reserved.

Richard Jones, from Eddisons, said “In a normal marketplace we might sell or let a hand full of units a month or so before practical completion, but to have reserved so many units without breaking ground is incredible.”

Some of the units have been sold to investors, but a majority are being reserved by owner-occupiers, taking advantage of cheap money and the opportunity to move away from renting.
