The shortlists have been unveiled for the potential winners of the 2023 Eastern Echo Awards.

The panel of judges, jointly chaired by UK Property Forums’ managing director Matthew Battle and chair of LandAid Eastern Regions Nicholas Bewes, met on Monday, May 15 at Stantec’s Cambridge office.

There was an excellent number of entries received this year and the judges have come up with a list of those competing for awards, with the winners announced at the Eastern Echo Awards ceremony on June 28 at Homerton College.

The Eastern Echo Awards will also be raising money for its official charity partner LandAid.

This will also be where the final categories, Property Leader of the Year / and Team of the Year will be announced.

The judges’ panel consisted of Matthew Battle, managing director of UK Property Forums, Nicholas Bewes, chair of LandAid Eastern Region, John Blair, director of John Blair Consult, Sebastian Conway-Jarrett, Editor – Eastern Echo at UK Property Forums, Emma Drake, director of Henbe, Mark Dujardin, chief executive of Horta Properties, Will Fayers, associate at Paul Basham Associates, Rob Harris, principal at Ramidus Consulting, Paul Smith, branch manager at Handelsbanken Cambridge and Jodie Welch, transport planner at Stantec.

Matthew Battle, joint chair of the judging panel and managing director of UK Property Forums said: “We are very excited about the selection of schemes submitted for the awards.
