Planning consultancy Lichfields has appointed two new planners at its Thames Valley office in Reading.

Ellie Roe and Mark Battersby will join the team, based at Apex Reading. Ellie Roe has relocated from the firm’s Cardiff office and will work on a number of public and private sector projects including advising on the development potential of sites, pursuing planning applications, preparing representations to emerging Local Plans and due diligence.

Mark Battersby, fresh from completing an MSc at the University of Reading, will be involved in similar work, supporting the senior team on several f important projects.

Both will be encouraged by Lichfields to be active members of RG NextGen, an ambitious group set up in Summer for the next generation of real estate professionals, and where Lichfields’ own Caitlin Attrill is a founding committee member.
