An EV charging station and rest stop is being planned for land off the A34 near Bicester in North Oxfordshire.

Oxon Transport Services has applied to Cherwell District Council to redevelop Family Farm at Weston On The Green. The site is within Oxford’s Green Belt but planning documents argue it is Grey Belt.

The development, which will require the formation of a new entry and exit slip road off the A34, comprises a single-storey timber-framed building along with 115 parking spaces, each with EV charging, and solar panels and landscaping.

The team on the project includes NCA Architecture on design and Carter Jonas on planning.
