Controversial plans for up to 150 homes at Bourne End, which planners have already voted to approve, go back to committee this week.

The application by Avant Homes and Croudace Homes for the development of a site known as Slate Meadow was given conditional approval by Wycombe District Council’s planning committee in August 2018.

The council required the signing of a s106 agreement, and although one has now been signed, it does not include a contribution for nursery education or a travel plan, both of which had initially been required but later, discovered not to be necessary.

Also being considered at the meeting, on Wednesday, June 26, is updated information on council policy, the NPPF and the council’s housing supply, all points being highlighted by community groups opposing the development..

Officers have recommended granting planning permission with a planning obligation.
