Two phases of a new development at Westcott Venture Park have been unveiled.
And three 10-year leases have been agreed at the new 65,455 sq ft Plot 9000 area of the 650-acre park, which has been backed by £5.9 million of UK Space Agency funding.
URA Thrusters has taken 10,636 sq ft, Skyports Drone Services has taken 5,145 sq ft (both expanding from other buildings on the park) and Westcott Shared Facilities has taken 5,253 sq ft.
The development also includes a 16,081 sq ft central amenity building known as the Skylark, offering a 90-seater café with a conference centre and meeting rooms which are set to open later this year.
Grade A office space in the Skylark is also being developed with suites of 1,000 sq ft – 5,500 sq ft available to pre-let.
Aman Sharma, investment manager at park owner PATRIZIA, said: “We are thrilled to see the first two phases of this pioneering development reach completion. These state-of-the-art facilities have enabled two of our most innovative occupiers to scale up at Westcott, creating opportunities for significant job growth and expansion.
“This development seamlessly blends cutting-edge design with sustainability, creating an attractive and inspiring working environment for occupiers to innovate and thrive.”
Pre-lets are available at the scheme’s 28,000 sq ft third phase, to be known as Orbis9000, which is set to complete in Q2 2026.
