A former furniture factory in High Wycombe could make way for an 8,278 sq m industrial development.
Under the plans submitted to Buckinghamshire Council by Avercet Property (development manager for proposed occupier Sabeti Wain Aerospace) the 1.2-hectare site in Abercromby Avenue and Oakridge Road will be part demolished, part refurbished and part redeveloped.
Proposed use classes for the scheme, which was planned by Montagu Evans, include E, B2 and B8.
Sabeti Wain Aerospace, which makes seat covers for aeroplanes, has acquired the site, its second in High Wycombe, and wants to move its Leighton Buzzard operation there.
A second, linked application for full planning permission has also been submitted which relates only to the part demolition and part refurbishment of the existing buildings fronting Abercromby Avenue.
