An office scheme in Frimley may be converted to 73 flats under Permitted Development Rights (PDR).

Threadneedle Property Unit Trust has applied to Surrey Heath Borough Council, via Savills, to convert the Archipelago development in Lyon Way into 54 one-bedroom and 29 two-bedroom flats.

The development of six buildings, set out in three blocks, has 307 parking spaces and 73 cycle spaces are included in the proposal. The site is 800m from Frimley train station.

The conversion is expected to mean 657 fewer car journeys per day onto local roads.
