Reading estate agent and Thames Tap partner Haslams has formed a partnership to help introduce buyers and investors from China and Hong Kong to the Thames Valley housing market.

Haslams has teamed up with international agency L2 International to seek to promote the Thames Valley’s new homes developers to help them reach potential new customers.

Haslams chief operating officer Mike Shearn said: “This collaboration means that Haslams can offer yet another unique service to new homes developers.

“It’s a game-changer for new homes as it opens up previously cost prohibitive international markets to our large and SME developer clients. China and Hong Kong are particularly strong markets for us at the moment and L2 ensure that our sites achieve maximum coverage.”

The L2 team has strong local knowledge of Hong Kong and China and already operates with Berkeley Homes and Ballymore.

Managing director Neil Batty said: “Our clients have a huge appetite for new homes in the Thames Valley and so it makes perfect sense for us to work with the area’s leading new homes agency.

“Haslams has a reputation for innovative thinking and so it’s a great collaboration of like-minded new homes businesses.”

The patronship has begun developing global market strategies for developers in the Thames Valley, targeted at international investors and buyers.
