UK Property Forums has begun a drive to broaden the kinds of submissions for this OxPropAwards.

Numbers of submission across most of the categories have risen almost every year since the launch of the event in 2018.

However, demand has been high for awards night tickets, and with a limited number remaining for the black-tie event on September 11, companies purchasing from now on will be required to submit for one or more of the category awards before they can buy a ticket.

UK Property Forums managing director Matthew Battle said: “OxPropAwards has always been the jewel in the crown of award schemes for us because Oxford and Oxfordshire are such remarkable areas in this industry.

“So this year we want to try to get more people and companies recognised for their achievements. We’ve never had a shortage of submissions but we believe potential submissions are going under the radar and we want to receive them and make the decisions as difficult as possible for our judges. I think that way, everyone benefits.”

Categories are as follows:

  • Deal of the Year
  • Architect of the Year
  • Contractor of the Year
  • Responsible Employer of the Year
  • Housing Development / Housing Developer of the Year
  • Commercial Project of the Year
  • Low Carbon of the Year
  • Project of the Year (including Educational Sector)
  • Apprentice of the Year – New for 2025
  • NextGen – Future Leader of the Year (Under 35)
  • Leader of the Year

This year’s awards night at Keble College will be hosted by former Leicestershire and England cricketer Matthew Hoggard MBE.

There will be a tour in the afternoon, followed by a drinks reception, then a three-course dinner and awards ceremony.
