Westfield Europe Limited received approval from Hammersmith and Fulham (H&F) Council for the outline plans to develop 1,700 homes and 2,510 sqm of industrial space just north of the Westfield Shopping Centre.

The plans will include 340 affordable homes comprising of 84 affordable units and 256 intermediate units. The development will be across nine blocks up to 32 storeys from the podium level.

The development will include cycle parking throughout, totalling 2,956 spaces. Provision will be made for oversized bicycles. Additionally, a residents’ car park is proposed at the basement level, which would include provision for wheelchair-accessible, motorbike and car club spaces along with (40 per cent) electric vehicle charging points (EVCP).

Public space is provided within the development; a new cultural and creative hub called The Makery and a new 1.4-acre public courtyard within the heart of the scheme.

The development will be completed over nine phases, commencing in Q4 2023 and ending in Q4 2038.
