The Hogarth Property Group announce planning improvements to the co-living scheme in Ealing.

The Hogarth Property Group co-living development at Hanger Lane, Ealing, has received planning consent to install an additional floor and make changes to the building layout that increase the number of units being constructed and enhance the design and space within the scheme. In particular, relocating some communal facilities creates more usable space that takes advantage of the wonderful views the building commands.

The uniquely designed development will now comprise 64 co-living apartments built across nine floors, six above ground and with three basement levels.

The central communal spaces will now occupy the top two floors, where they can access a series of terraces surrounding these areas.

The relocation of the communal spaces within the scheme has created an additional five co-living units, which will follow the same layout as those on other floors.

One of the existing units has also been reconfigured to provide additional wheelchair accessibility, with seven accessible units in the scheme.

Additional cycle storage and laundry room facilities have also been created.

The creation of additional co-living units has also seen a further off-site affordable housing contribution of £161,000.

The scheme will be let and operated on an “all bills inclusive” basis by another Hogarth Property Group company, Urban Living, with a dedicated resident’s manager/concierge on site.

The development at 70 Hanger Lane follows The Hogarth Property Group’s successful development of 48 co-living units at 15 Hanger Lane, completed in 2020.
