The former Warwick Arms pub in Reading could make way for a 29-room hotel.

An application to Reading Borough Council by Green Islander Investments, proposes demolition of the King’s Road pub for the hotel which would have a restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

A planning statement by ET Planning describes a four and a half storey hotel which will have no guest parking. Five spaces will be provided for staff.

Since its days as the Warwick Arms the building has been operated as various short-lived pub and restaurant uses. It is currently The Aila restaurant and bar.
