Eastern Echo readers can get the chance to hear from leading figures in the region’s property and transport markets at the next UKPropSocial.
Our Trade Winds breakfast event in Cambridge on May 7 will look at how the East of England is being affected by the increased turbulence from US trade barriers and will look at opportunities in the science and tech sector.
A debate, chaired by UK Property Forums’ managing director Matthew Battle, will include a panel featuring:
- Dan Francis, head of research, Carter Jonas
- Matt McBrien, regional director – PM, AECOM
- William Rooke, partner – head of Cambridge commercial agency & investment, Carter Jonas
- Jodie Welch, senior transport planner, KMC and chair of NextGen East
Delegates can understand the potential market changes generated by recent trade barrier issues emanating from the US Government and find out what opportunities the situation might present, including in the science & tech sectors.
There will be an update on this year’s EastPropAwards and an update on NextGenEast a group for those new to property, which is active in the East of England.
UKPF managing director Matthew Battle said: “This is an opportunity to get a very timely perspective on world events, which have a potentially major impact on the East of England, from people at the sharp end of the property development and investment markets in the region.”
