arc Shopping Centre, located in Bury St Edmunds, has appointed Kirsty Pollard as centre manager. The complex opened to the public in 2009 and has retail, residential and events space.

Following the retirement of Allan Hassell earlier this year, Kirsty brings 25 years of experience in property management across the retail and leisure sectors.

Kirsty said: “arc Shopping Centre is a central part of what makes Bury St Edmunds feel so special. The town has a lovely way of blending modern shopping and restaurants with a really strong sense of history and charm.”

“Bury St Edmunds feels vibrant without being overwhelming, making it a relaxed and enjoyable place to visit. It’s also something of a foodie haven – there’s an incredible choice of places to eat and drink”

The shopping centre is located in the heart of Bury St Edmunds and is home to 37 retail units, residential accommodation and The Apex events space. Anchor tenant Primark opened in March 2024. Further tenants include Oliver Bonas, Next, Pandora and L’Occitane.

“I’m thrilled to be joining arc at such an exciting time,” said Kirsty, “What stands out most is the pride, passion and strong sense of community here. I look forward to working closely with the centre team, our brand partners and key stakeholders.”

Kirsty will work alongside the established centre management team, focus on driving the next phase of arc’s growth and seek to enhance the visitor experience.
