Leaf Living has announced a £34 million investment across two developments in Essex and Hampshire, delivering over 100 new build to rent (BTR) homes.

The development in Basildon, Essex will deliver 68 new homes as part of the 54-acre Gardiners Park Village development.

The homes will be delivered in partnership with family-owned housebuilder Stonebond.

Andrew Cornelius, CEO of Stonebond said: “Our collaboration with Leaf Living provides the perfect opportunity to share expertise and deliver high-quality new homes as part of new and sustainable communities. I am proud of our partnership with Leaf Living which will deliver tangible benefits for Basildon, helping to deliver the right homes in the right places.”

Will Montague, interim CEO of Leaf Living said: “We are excited to announce these two new agreements with some excellent delivery partners. We are investing significantly in our pipeline, and these agreements are a clear demonstration of our commitment to delivery and expanding the business.”

Leaf Living was established in March 2021 by investment partners Blackstone and Regis Group and has been partnering with several small and medium-sized construction companies to develop new sites as part of its expanding portfolio of new BTR housing in the UK.

In Hampshire, the firm has partnered with Drew Smith to deliver 42 new homes in North Whiteley. The development forms part of the North Whiteley Urban Extension and represents an investment of £11.7 million.

Combined, the developments will deliver 110 new homes.
