Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been appointed to operate alongside Rare Commercial Property as joint agent for Basing View.

Owner Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and its development partner Muse Developments have a number of consented ongoing projects at the 65-acre park including the construction of a new 42,000 sq ft office building called Benchmark, next to the new 45,000 sq ft home for Eli Lilly.

There is also a major refurbishment of 154,000 sq ft Mountbatten House under way and a planning application has been submitted for a further 45,000 sq ft office building to be known as Neon. A decision on that is expected imminently.

Kate Dean, project director for Basing View, said: “We are looking forward to working with Lambert Smith Hampton at this key stage in Basing View’s regeneration, with new facilities, pre-let opportunities and major refurbishment schemes coming on stream.

“Their in-depth knowledge of Basing View’s key target markets, comprehensive network of office locations and fresh approach will be a great asset.”

Earlier this year the new Village Hotel opened at Basing View.
