Kingston Estates have had approval for a 93,000 sq. ft Office space in the centre of Wimbledon, Francis Grove, at Merton Planning on the 18th June 2020.
This will be much to the delight of “Love Wimbledon” who said in the planning application, “The proposed building is a vast improvement on the existing building and builds a stronger relationship with the Victorian buildings. At street level there is also a significant improvement and the new building would also be more environmentally sustainable. The proposal would also provide modern and improved Grade A offices, and this will also boost surrounding businesses.”
Kingston Estates have worked with consultants TFT on the project management and sustainability and this is another success for the company in the Wimbledon centre following Pinnacle House.
The nine-storey building at 1-4 Francis Grove will have no additional car parking and already has good transport links. 134 long stay cycle bays will be provided along with a café and leisure facilities.
