M&G in talks to sell R+

M&G Real Estate is in talks to sell its 104,000 sq ft R+ building in Reading to Oval Real Estate.

Property Week has reported that multiple private equity and international buyers made bids for the six-floor building which is opposite Apex Plaza which M&G sold to Legal & General in 2015.

If signed, the deal would represent one of the largest in the south east since lockdown.

The building has 43,000 sq ft available. Co-working operator Central Working has taken the ground floor while the second, fifth and part of the fourth floor are let.

Knight Frank is advising M&G while Oval Real Estate is acting on its own.
