Practical completion has been reached on tool giant Milwaukee’s 13,250 sq ft training centre at Westcott Venture Park.

Milwaukee parent company Techtronic Industries (TTI) signed a 10-year lease on 13,250 sq ft Building 1030 last year and the tool company has begun fit out with occupation likely in September.

The centre, designed to be the company’s premier training base in the UK, will be for training employees and will offer customers and contractors opportunities to try the product range range of power tools, accessories and safety equipment, specifically tailored for the construction industry.

Dan Stringer, head of training for TTI, said: “We are delighted to have secured our training base at Westcott and look forward to collaborating with businesses across the park. Our commitment to building partnerships remains at the heart of everything we do.”

Nigel MacKenzie, development manager for Westcott, said: “Westcott’s strategic central location makes it an exceptional hub for training facilities. Completing this deal demonstrates our continued ability to attract premier multinational tenants and marks another exciting milestone in the park’s development journey.”
