Alec Prince has joined mode transport as a Director to head up their London office. Alec joins us from WSP and is a transport planner with over 30 years’ experience in transport engineering and planning. He has been responsible for the management and control of a number of transport impact studies giving specialist advice to private and public sector clients on transport and highway matters.

Alec has been involved in schemes which have included a wide variety of development projects, high density urban housing and mixed-use developments, urban regeneration schemes, retail, education, health, offices, industrial, hotels and a yachting village on the Isle of Wight. Alec has a strong background in design and implementation of numerous traffic projects, at a local and strategic level.

Alec has been a Member of Institution of Highways and transportation since 1990 and a Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport since 1994.

Opened in 2016, the London office is one mode’s four UK bases and employs six members of staff based in their offices in Camden. The office has worked for several high-profile clients in region, including: The NHS, KFC developments and intu properties.

Alec will be seeking to expand this portfolio of clients and range of projects, through his depth of experience across the board.
