New deal engineered for occupier at Axis Park

Aberdeen UK Property Fund, advised jointly by Savills and Richardson’s, has let Unit 19D at Axis Park on Manasty Road in Orton Southgate, Peterborough to E F Engineering Ltd.

The firm, which provides a range of specialist engineering services, has agreed to a new five-year lease for an additional 2,768 sq ft.

Already present on the park, E F’s recent expansion will see them occupy a total of 12,780 sq ft across two units.

There has been a recent flurry of activity at the park since the launch of eight new-build units, this latest transaction follows a deal to Metro Rod which completed earlier this year.

As a result, there are now only a small number of units available to let at a starting quoting rent of £7.50 per sq ft.

Edward Gee, associate director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “Axis Park provides good quality warehouse accommodation in the well-established commercial location of Orton Southgate.”

Mr Gee continued: “With excellent access to Junction 17 of the A1 (M) this is the ideal location for E F Engineering’s continued expansion.

He concluded: “Following this latest success, we are confident that we will receive significant enquiries regarding the remaining available space.”
