The first building at the new Oxford Technology Park is close to completion.

External work to Building One, fronting Langford Lane, includes solar gain, resistant, enhanced cladding and other materials which are sustainable and recyclable. The 34,125 sq ft building, due for completion in November, will be rated BREEAM Excellent.

Suites in the flexible new space lab and R&D space will be from 4,140 sq ft.

Angus Bates, chief executive of Hill Street Holdings, owner and developer of Oxford Technology Park, said: “We’re delighted we’re nearing completion of Building One, which has been specifically designed both externally and internally to cater for science and technology companies to meet the growing demand for high-tech office and lab space in Oxfordshire from spin-outs, start-ups to those companies who require grow-on space.”

Building 3 is also close to completion and the Innovation Quarter is under construction.
