Premium housebuilder Burrington Estates is to build its second new homes development to Deddington, Oxfordshire.

Planning permission has been granted to build a select collection of 15 new homes in Clifton Road. The site, Clifton Gate, on the eastern approach into the village.  It follows similar success with Hempton Gate, recently launched off-plan is on the western approach.

Clifton gate includes a mix of properties from two-bedroom semi-detached homes up to large luxurious five-bedroom houses, all built in natural stone.

Burrington Estates’ marketing materials state:

Burrington Estates is known for crafting homes of distinction in sought after locations. It carefully combines timeless architecture and materials with generous green spaces to create communities that blend seamlessly with their surroundings, and this is very much their approach to the plans for Clifton Road.

The company made its name in South West England and is now offering the Burrington Estates brand in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Hempton Gate was its first development in Oxfordshire, but the very positive response from buyers shows the local demand for the type of product.

John Scott, sales and marketing director at Burrington Estates, said: “It is great news to get the green light on our plans for our second development in Deddington. As has been shown at Hempton Gate where properties are selling well off-plan, there is great demand in the area for high quality homes in this attractive semi-rural setting. We are delighted to be able to offer purchasers another opportunity to find their perfect home in Deddington.”

The Clifton Road site benefits from a premier location on the edge of Deddington, surrounded by mature hedges, trees and fields. Conserving the green and leafy aspect, Burrington Estates will plant new hedgerows and wildflower meadows to create a beautifully rural site for residents. The detail, character and design of the new homes will blend carefully with the setting, including materials such as stone, brickwork, timber cladding and tiled roofing, all synonymous with local architecture. Each home will also benefit from an enclosed south-facing rear garden.

Designed in a similar traditional style, Hempton Gate includes 14 luxurious new homes in a mix of two, three and four-bedroom layouts that are currently available for sale off-plan. The timeless architecture is complemented by contemporary interiors finished with a premium specification. A range of environmentally friendly features such as energy efficient underfloor heating, superior insulation and electric car charging points are also incorporated in Burrington Estates’ bid to offer sustainable homes for residents.

As a small market town situated between Banbury and Oxford, Deddington is a popular location for buyers who want a combination of countryside and convenience. The town itself offers a good range of day-to-day facilities including local shops, cafes, two pubs and a primary school, as well as an excellent monthly farmers’ market. For shopping, Oxford, Chipping Norton and Bicester Village are all close by, while trains into Central London from Banbury station take under an hour.

Prices for the homes at Hempton Gate start from £410,000. Registrations of interest are being taken for the off-plan launch.
