A council owned housebuilder has resubmitted its previously-approved plans for 174 homes in Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes Development Partnership has applied to Milton Keynes Council for outline permission to develop a 7.7-hectare site west of Walton Manor in Brickhill Street, in the south east of the city. The scheme was already approved in November 2019.

However, a variation to the application was approved in 2022 to allow a roundabout, part of the initial proposal, to go ahead first. That is now under construction and the original scheme has been resubmitted to allow more time for the developer to prepare a reserved matters application.

As well as homes, the scheme includes plans for outdoor community events space a Class E retail unit and informal open space. A total of 53 of the homes will be affordable.

The site is allocated for residential development in Plan MK (2019).
